		Titcomb's Bookshop Book Club Run by Ann Patchett September Discussion Tuesday September 16th, 7:00pm Author Ann Patchett will discuss the book and answer questions by phone! We are reading the book Run by Ann Patchett for our September discussion. Book Synopsis: Since their mother's death, Tip and Teddy Doyle have been raised by their loving, possessive, and ambitious father. As the former mayor of Boston, Bernard Doyle wants to see his sons in politics, a dream the boys have never shared. But when an argument in a blinding New England snowstorm inadvertently causes an accident that involves a stranger and her child, all Bernard cares about is his ability to keep his children--all his children--safe. The book club is open to all and no registration is required....just come!

		Preschool Story Time With Miss Edye Fall Series Wednesdays 10:30am, September 24th-November 19th Miss Edye is back for preschool story times! She will read stories targeted for kids ages 2-5 followed by a simple craft and a snack. Story time is free and no registration is required. Story time will kick off on September 24th with a Scaredy Squirrel Day.
		A Visit With Graeme Base! Tuesday Oct. 14th 10:30am To be held at the Sandwich Public Library We are thrilled to host a visit with remarkable children's author and illustrator Graeme Base. (Once you have spent some time with Animalia, it is not a book you will soon forget!) We will read his newest book Engima: A Magical Mystery ($19.95, which will be released in September) and he will give a short talk and have time for questions and answers. The talk will be followed by a book signing. Also coming out in September is a book about Graeme Base and his work called The Art Of Graeme Base ($60.00). This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
