We are still talking about our visit with Henry Winkler! If you ever get a chance to see him speak, you simply have to grab everyone you know and go!(We would love love love to have him come back here, but we know he's busy!) He was warm, genuine, funny and inspiring. The 800 people who came to the event agreed! |

Jeff Kinney
Jeff Kinney brought his Wimpy Kid presentation to Sandwich and 400 kids poured into the Sandwich High School auditorium to see him. (We would love to have hosted him at the Bookshop but what Bookshop seriously has space for 40 people to sit down!)
Jeff was the definition of a good sport. He did his presentation, signed books for kids for 2 hours, came back to the Bookshop to have his picture taken and then signed 4 cases of books for us! Thank you! |

Fancy Nancy Bonjour Butterfly Tea Party 2008
We celebrated the release of Fancy Nancy Bonjour Butterdfly with a special tea party at Beth's Special Teas in Sandwich. We used Mrs. Titcomb's antique tea cup collection and enjoyed two seatings of girls with their Moms and grandmothers dressed in their fancy best. |
